About the Owner Of JK House Sitting
Hi, I’m Jani! I hold a certificate in Wildlife Management, and my Level 2 in First Aid, and my ultimate dream is to work closely with wildlife. Until then, I channel my love for animals by caring for pets of all kinds.
I’ve always had a soft spot for kids, too; they’re so carefree and full of joy, which brings me happiness every day. I’m an outdoor enthusiast who loves hiking, boxing, and baking in my free time. In 2025, I adopted my own kitten, who is half-blind. No one else wanted him, but the moment I saw those little eyes staring at me, I knew I couldn’t resist.
Since 2023, I’ve been house sitting a variety of pets, from different dog breeds and cats to even some lizards. I’m happy to care for any animal because I believe all creatures deserve love and attention. Alongside running JK House Sitting, I work full-time at GoodX and build my business in my spare time. I’m passionate about what I do and look forward to helping care for your home, your kids, and all your beloved pets.

I’d love to tell you a little bit about myself. I grew up surrounded by animals, big, small, fluffy, energetic, shy – you name it. Because of that, I’ve learned how to understand their personalities, respond to their needs, and make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable.
Animals aren’t just pets to me; they’re family, and I treat them that way. When I’m not spending time with furry friends, you’ll usually find me reading, learning something new, or exploring new experiences. I’m always up for an adventure, and I genuinely enjoy discovering new places, skills, and ideas.
I bring that same curiosity and energy into the work I do, making every assignment personal and meaningful. I’m reliable and passionate about what I do.

Baby Sitting
Jani is an absolute angel, and our 3 year old warmed up to her instantly! She asks all the time when aunty Jani is coming to play again. Jani is also great with sticking to routine, including bath and bedtime! They played so much that our daughter was KO in 10 minutes after story time. We even get regular updates, which eases any parent’s mind new to using a babysitter. I 100% recommend Jani to every parent.
